I had a mixed experience at Hotel Zero 1 in Montreal. The location is its strongest point, as it’s right near Chinatown and the beautiful Old Port, which made exploring downtown very convenient. However, the service left much to be desired, with issues like unfriendliness at the front desk and miscommunication about car services. The room was spacious but had its downsides, like a locked thermostat and consistently dusty furniture.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and spacious, providing plenty of room for my belongings. However, it was surprisingly dark and had some maintenance issues like a locked thermostat that made cooling the room difficult.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were friendly but lack efficiency. I encountered miscommunication regarding my car service and had to repeatedly ask to turn off the AC in the room.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic, just steps away from Chinatown and within walking distance to many attractions, including the Notre-Dame Cathedral and Quartier des Spectacles.
Dining
5.0
Dining was somewhat underwhelming. the restaurant's opening hours were awkward, and the prices were steep for the quality offered. The breakfast options lacked variety and quality.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like valet parking were available, but sadly, the service didn't quite meet expectations. I wasn’t pleased with the cleaning schedule, as rooms weren’t cleaned unless explicitly requested.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Hotel Zero 1. While the location near Chinatown and Old Montreal was fantastic, the cleanliness of the hotel and customer service left much to be desired. The room I stayed in was small but well-furnished, yet housekeeping was inconsistent, and the breakfast options were quite disappointing.

Rooms
6.0
My room was compact but had a modern feel and was clean. However, I found it a bit dark due to the concrete ceilings. It was well-equipped with a microwave, which is great for longer stays, but I had to ask for housekeeping multiple times.
Service
5.0
The staff at the front desk were friendly, but the service could be hit or miss. I faced significant delays in valet service and there were times when staff seemed unprofessional and unhelpful.
Location
8.0
The location was excellent, just a short walk from many attractions and right near the metro. I felt it was central to everything I wanted to do, which is a major plus for a city visit.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered was quite poor; not appealing at all compared to local dining options. I opted out of the buffet after seeing the limited selection.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities like the rooftop terrace and pool were nice touches. However, with limited elevator access and issues with valet service, it detracted from an otherwise modern aesthetic.

My stay at Hotel Zero 1 had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, being close to St. Catherine's Street and Chinatown, but the room was somewhat cramped and didn't match the online photos. Service was generally good, but I did encounter issues with cleanliness and the breakfast options were disappointing. Overall, it was a decent experience but could use improvements in several areas. 🌆

Rooms

My room was small and didn't match the photos online. The furniture was stained and felt motel-like. The view was nice, but the cramped space affected comfort.

Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, but I had some issues with cleanliness during my stay, which was disappointing.
Location
8.0
The hotel was ideally located near the metro and within walking distance of Old Montreal and many restaurants, which I appreciated.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were limited to yogurt, toast, and muffins, which was far less satisfying than I expected.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included a fridge and a coffee maker which were nice, but the overall hotel felt dated and needed some maintenance.

My stay at Hotel Zero 1 Montreal was mostly enjoyable, with a fantastic location near Chinatown and many attractions. I loved the modern, chic design of my room, which had great amenities like a fridge and espresso machine. However, I did experience some noise issues, especially from the elevator, and the bathroom was a bit cramped. Overall, I'd consider returning for another visit. 😊

Rooms

My room was sleek and stylish, with a fantastic view from the 9th floor. It was compact yet comfortable, featuring a small kitchenette and nice toiletries, although the bathroom was a bit small and the noise from the elevator was bothersome.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, making check-in seamless and providing assistance whenever I needed it.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of downtown, metro stations, and various local attractions, making exploration super convenient.
Dining
6.0
I didn't try the breakfast, but there were free muffins and coffee available in the lobby that I didn't sample. The breakfast options seemed limited from what I gathered.
Facilities

The hotel offered decent facilities, including a small gym and a corner store on the main floor, but the limited housekeeping services and lack of more comprehensive dining options could be improved.

Hotel Zero 1 Montreal offered me a comfortable stay with its spacious rooms and friendly service, although the dining experience left much to be desired. The location was perfect for exploring the city, especially being close to Chinatown and various attractions. Unfortunately, some aspects of the room, including its dark lighting and inadequate breakfast options, detracted from the overall enjoyment of my visit.

Rooms

The hotel's location was fantastic, being right next to Chinatown and within walking distance to many attractions. It was also conveniently close to the airport bus route.

I was disappointed with the breakfast offerings, as the options were quite limited and not well made. Cold eggs and burnt bacon certainly didn't match the city's culinary reputation.
